Will MINU reach $1? Why the cryptocurrency's success is anyone's guess
Muu Inu (MINU) is the newest cryptocurrency on the market, boasting the highest market cap of all the new cryptos to hit the scene.
Although it's uncertain whether MINU will succeed or fail, the cryptocurrency's sudden rise in value has certainly captured the attention of critics and supporters alike. Will MINU reach $1?
Why the cryptocurrency's success is anyone's guess, but there are some key factors to consider about MINU that should be taken into account when making predictions about its future value.
The history of MUU token
Muu Inu Coin or MINU has a history that dates back to 2012. While it does have similarities with Bitcoin, it also has several key differences which set it apart from its more famous counterpart. It’s a proof of stake (PoS) coin rather than a proof of work (PoW) coin, for example.
It was created in 2012 and its performance over time is not too dissimilar to Litecoin—except that its value has been on an upward trajectory ever since 2013, with sharp spikes in growth occurring at certain times during that period.
Its current market cap is around $2 million, but that figure could easily double if it continues to perform as well as it has done recently. What makes MUU so special?
What are some of its unique features? And why do some experts believe it could be worth far more than even Bitcoin someday? These are all questions we will explore further in our analysis below.
Benefits of holding MUU tokens
Since MUU tokens are used to pay for all transactions on Beyond Muu, as more people begin using MUU, there will be increased demand. This should drive up its value.
If you hold MUU and people use them to purchase your professional services or products, that’s great! You can then use those tokens to buy things on Beyond Muu.
The greater number of people who use them and buy products with them, the more valuable they become! But if you have a lot of mucus but no one uses them to buy your stuff or pay for anything, their value will be greatly diminished.
And unfortunately, we can’t predict whether any particular currency is going to succeed or fail either now or in 10 years. We just don’t know. So it’s important to remember that just because something has gone up in value recently doesn't mean it will continue to do so. We think MUU has some potential, but investing is unpredictable so only invest what you can afford to lose.
What makes this ICO unique?
To be honest, it’s tough to say. There are a lot of factors that can determine whether or not an ICO will succeed, from its whitepaper and development team to marketing and timing.
With so many unknowns, it’s hard to make any predictions without making a few presumptions. I know that might sound like a cop-out answer, but when you consider how new cryptocurrencies are created on a daily basis...
Well, maybe things really are as difficult as they seem! If you have any ideas about what makes an ICO successful in your mind, share your thoughts in a comment below. After all, if we knew exactly what would make one of these things work we'd probably be multi-millionaires by now!
But don't get discouraged: there's no doubt that blockchain technology has a bright future ahead of it, and investing in cryptocurrencies could end up being extremely profitable for early adopters.
Just remember: no matter how much you want something to happen, there's no guarantee that it will. You'll need to do your research before getting involved with anything—and always follow through with proper due diligence (DD).
Don't just trust people who come out of nowhere offering guaranteed returns!
Possible downsides
The obvious downside to a speculative investment like Muu Inu is that its price could crash, just as it has in recent weeks. But speculating on crypto can also be from a regulatory perspective:
The SEC has taken enforcement actions against several crypto-related firms, including Maksim Zaslavskiy and his companies GAW Miners and ZenMiner for alleged fraudulent ICOs. So far, it hasn't specifically targeted securities tokens; but there's reason to think that could change.
And regulators have yet to announce their stance on MINU, although Kucoin appears to be in good standing with its home country of Hong Kong. It’s not fully clear what their [Chinese government] policy direction will be, says Levin of Chainalysis.
Things to consider before investing in an ICO
As a disclaimer, I’m not saying it’s impossible to make money off of ICOs and cryptocurrencies; however, my advice to you would be: to proceed with caution.
There are a lot of scams and pump-and-dump groups out there right now looking to take advantage of those who don’t have as much experience trading cryptocurrencies or who may be new to investing altogether.
You could wind up losing a lot more than you invest. If you decide that an ICO seems like something worth investing in, take some time before making any rash decisions (as it is possible to get free tokens if certain conditions are met), use your common sense, and always do your own research!
And please, never invest more than you can afford to lose. Cryptocurrencies can fluctuate widely in prices and are therefore not appropriate for all investors.
Trading or mining cryptocurrencies is very speculative, and it is highly recommended that you seek professional financial advice before proceeding further.
Conclusion
So what’s next for Muu Inu (MINU)? It’s hard to say. The currency has a dedicated community and an ambitious founder. There are other dogs, such as Dogecoin, that have reached highs of hundreds of dollars per coin in a very short time frame.
But then again, there are also other cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Litecoin that have gone from lows to highs several times over since their launches in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
The point is: we really don’t know if MINU will ever be worth $1 or more—nor do we know if it will top out at a dollar or even fail completely.
All we can do is wait and see how things play out. Either way, it should be fun to watch.

Don't worry about others judging you because who cares?! If they're not supporting you, they're not important enough to worry about. Take it when needed but make sure it's calculated so nothing bad happens to you or those around you.
